Introducing Interviewdom: one desktop app for the whole interview loop
Interviewdom is an AI interview assistant for Windows and macOS that helps before, during and after interviews — grounded in your own resume, role and job description.
Today we're introducing Interviewdom, an AI interview assistant for Windows and macOS. It exists because of a gap we kept seeing: good candidates lose offers not because they lack the experience, but because interviews measure how clearly you can communicate that experience under pressure — and almost nobody practices that.
Most tools address one slice of the problem. Question banks give you generic answers that sound like everyone else's. Chatbots can help, but only if you stop mid-interview to type the question and paste in your context. Human coaching works, but a single session can cost more than a month of focused preparation.
Interviewdom takes a different shape: one desktop app that covers preparation, the live conversation and the review afterwards — with every suggestion grounded in your resume, your target role and your job description.
Before the interview
Preparation in Interviewdom starts from your actual materials, not a template:
- Resume & ATS checker. Upload your resume as a PDF and check it against the job description you're targeting, so you know which of your experiences the interviewer is most likely to probe.
- Question bank. Generate role-specific likely questions with suggested answers built from your background.
- Mock interviews. Practice with configurable interview type, difficulty and question count. Answer by voice or text, and get scored feedback at the end. Supported formats include behavioral, technical, coding, system design and phone screens.
During the interview
The live assistant runs in a compact overlay window and transcribes the conversation in real time, suggesting answers grounded in your resume, the job description and your role:
- STAR structure for behavioral questions. Suggestions arrive organized as Situation, Task, Action, Result — so your stories land with a beginning, middle and end.
- READSCREEN for on-screen questions. Coding problems and take-home prompts live on your screen, not in the audio. Press Alt+S and Interviewdom captures the on-screen question and suggests a worked answer.
- System-design diagrams. For architecture discussions, Interviewdom generates diagrams for the design you're describing.
- Answer styles. Choose semi-formal, formal, Hinglish or cultural-round modes — or define a custom style and response format.
- A discreet overlay. The assistant window is kept out of screen-share capture using OS-level content protection, so your prep notes stay your business.
Everything works in 14 languages, including English, Hindi, Hinglish and 11 other Indian languages. Under the hood you can choose between Google Gemini and OpenAI engines.
After the interview
"That went okay, I think" is not a plan. After a mock — or a real session — Interviewdom produces a scored report: overall score, competency breakdown, strengths, improvement areas and per-question feedback. Your goals, resumes, reports and saved questions sync across devices, so each interview makes the next one better.
